The Positivus Festival starts when you hit the road. This year, there are many ways of getting to Salacgrīva, where the largest music and art festival in the Baltics will take place; which one are you going to use?

Together it is always more fun! One of the most convenient ways of getting to the Festival is Positivus Shuttles – they will depart from Rīga, the Mall Olimpija (Āzenes iela 5) and arrive at the main gate of the Festival.

Shuttle departures from the Mall Olimpija (Āzenes 5, Rīga):
• Thursday, 16 July, at 14.00 and 18.00
• Friday, 17 July, at 08.00, 12.00 and 18.00
Shuttle departures from the stop in Salacgrīva by the Festival’s territory:
• Monday, 20 July, at 01.45, 09.30 and 14.30

To make the way convenient and fast, the Positivus Shuttle will have no stops in its way to Salacgrīva. We invite you to purchase the tickets well in time, as the quantity is limited and the first trip has been fully booked already. You can buy the tickets on positivusfestival.com for EUR 6.50.

Another way of getting to the Positivus Festival with good comfort is the green Baltic Taxi taxis, which will take you and three your friends to Positivus for EUR 76. You can by the vouchers on positivusfestival.com. Or you want a taxi ride but do not have company? Just select one of the three places where taxi passengers will be picked up: Lielirbes iela (by Mall Spice), Tērbatas iela 2 (Sakta Flower Market) or Deglava iela 67 (by Maxima XXX in Purvciems), and send your application to: info@baltictaxi.eu. One seat will cost EUR 19. Provide in the application the following: name, phone number, how many passengers (if you have company) and the desired time and place of leaving. Then employees of Baltic Taxi will contact you and negotiate the time of leaving so that a group of passengers can be arranged. Each passenger has the right to one fourth of the boot for their belongings. More information on baltictaxi.lv. To call a taxi in Salacgrīva, use the special phone number that will be operative only during Positivus: 20008686.

If you choose your car, you can leave it in the official Festival’s parking lots, where the price per entry will be EUR 10. It will be also possible to pay with the Mobilly application. To pay for parking with Mobilly, send START space AUTO space POS to 1859 (e.g. START AB1221 POS). There is no need to stop the parking counter.

The organisers remind: it is strictly forbidden to build tents or canopies or to use grills and other equipment in the parking lot. The cars must be parked in accordance with the instructions from the Festival’s staff. Sleeping in the car will be permitted.

If you arrive on a bicycle, it will be possible to leave it in the unattended parking lot by the entry of the Salacgrīva School. It will be forbidden to move around the Festival’s territory on bicycles.

If you come with a camper, you can park it in the Tent Campsite or a car park lot. In the Tent Campsite, the price for a camper will be EUR 50 without an electricity connection and EUR 80 with an electricity connection; the price includes four wristbands to the Tent Campsite. If you park the camper in a parking lot, the price will be EUR 10 per entry and no electricity connection will be available.

In your way to Positivus, take into account traffic restrictions and traffic jams. During the Festival, the traffic restrictions on the motorway from Rīga (Baltezers) to the Estonian border (Ainaži) (A1) will be reduced. In the span from Baltezers till Ādaži (0.00-6.3 km), where paving works are currently done, no significant works or traffic restrictions are planned in the period from 17 to 19 July. In the motorway span in the Salacgrīva Municipality (81.27-87.0 km), only speed limits are planned during the Festival.

Those Positivus visitors who come to Salacgrīva from the Ainaži – Estonia end should take into account that there are 7 spans where traffic is regulated with traffic lights in the Salacgrīva Municipality (89.4-101.36 km). Due to the reconstruction of the bridge over the Krišupīte River, traffic will be directed to a detour road. The predicted time for driving this span is 25-25 min. Although no road works will take place on the holidays, all the restrictions and traffic lights will remain in place.

If you plan your way to Salacgrīva using the road Rīga -Carnikava -Ādaži (P1), the construction works in the Carnikava Municipality (21.174-27.1 km) during the days of the Festival will be technically finished and the planned road painting works will not affect the intensified traffic flow.

Festival tickets can be bought on www.positivusfestival.com and from Biļešu Serviss ticket offices and Nordea ATMs. A three-day ticket without a tent space costs EUR 65.00; a three-day ticket with a tent space costs EUR 71.00. One-day tickets are also available at the price of EUR 35.00. Tickets without a commission fee are available on www.positivusfestival.com. We invite you to purchase the tickets in due time as they will become more expensive at the Festival.
