  • bilde+logo.jpg

The Positivus Festival is a festival of feelings, a possibility to run away from the daily routine and have a really good rest. Therefore, we recommend that you plan what belongings you actually need with you to feel good and not take unnecessary things with you.

When packing your bag, make sure you have the Festival ticket with you, and if you have a ticket with the ISIC discount also the ISIC card, but the residents of Salacgrīva who hold the special resident ticket must have an ID document with them.  Also young people should take an ID with them, as teenagers till the age of 16 may be present at the Festival in the period from 22.00 till 8.00 only together with an adult.  Be sure to take cash with you as well as bank cards – ATMs will be available both in Salacgrīva and in the Festival's territory.

If you are going to sleep in the Tent Campsite, be sure to take with you a tent, a sleeping bag, a mat and comfortable clothes for sleeping. Take care of your hygiene: take a shower gel or soap with you, as there will be showers in the Tent Campsite, a tooth brush and a tooth paste as well as other hygiene products that will make you feel comfortable living three days in the tent. To securely move around the Ten Campsite at night, a flashlight or a flashlight app in the phone will become handy. If you are on medications, remember to take them with you; also, there will be a pharmacy in the Festival’s territory. If you are planning to delve into romantic adventures, it is advisable to take condoms with you.

In case it rains, you should have with you rubber boots and a raincoat with you; it is forbidden to carry in umbrellas in the Festival’s territory.  But if it is sunny, you will need a sun lotion. Be sure to make several sets of clothes so that you are comfy in various weather conditions. Take a warm jumper as nights can be chilly; take also swimming clothes as the sea is just a walk away.

But if you forget something at home, no worries – there will be the shops JYSK and Gandrs and the pharmacy A Aptieka on the site. Unlike other music festivals, we permit to use selfie sticks – take pictures and have endless fun.

Furthermore, there are things that we strongly advise not to take with you; also, we advise you not to take too much of anything. It is forbidden to carry into the Festival professional photo equipment with changeable lenses and video equipment, any types of umbrellas, drugs, food products, beverages, large-sized items, and objects that may threaten other visitors: guns, explosives, knives, gas sprays, glass items etc. Also, it is forbidden to use drones in the Festival’s territory.

If you lose or find something, go to the Information Centre where the lost and found office will be working. The staff of the Information Centre will register and take photos of all the found items and transfer them for keeping to the State Police (the station will be by the school), and you will be able to find your lost keys or phone in the Register List.
