Today marks the beginning of the application process for the vintage, arts and crafts market. Every artist, designer or creative entrepreneur creating original clothing items, footwear, accessories or other artsy items can now apply for a vending spot at the festival’s vintage, arts and crafts market until May 16th. The main selection criteria will be maximum article variety and the successful applicants will be announced on June 1st.

Every year, the vintage, arts and crafts market offers the festival visitors a wide variety of both modern and vintage clothing items, footwear, original accessories, stylish headwear and other artsy items, made in Latvia or in the neighbouring countries. An essential selection criterion for all applicants is that they should be the designer – the author of their own idea, the producer as well as the manufacturer of their own product. With an increasing number of applicants, the festival organizers will attentively evaluate all submitted applications to ensure that the market will feature a vast and varied scope of products. The festival organisers invite all applicants to consider the visual design of the vending tent as well as the originality and distinctiveness of the displayed items, which should also reflect the overall festival theme and ambience. The festival 3 day ticket without camping currently costs EUR 57 and a 3 day ticket with camping costs EUR 63. Tickets are available at www.positivusfestival.com and in all Biļešu Serviss box offices. Ticket prices are set to increase.
