We kindly ask the parents to think of their children well-being. Please remember to take several shifts of clothes for various weather conditions – both hot sun and chilly rain showers. A headgear is mandatory for children in sunny weather: it can be a kerchief or a cap or hat; remember – if you leave your child at the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island, a headgear and suited clothes and footwear are mandatory. Take with you also a sun protection lotion with a suitable for children SPF level. In case it rains, a raincoat will be indispensable; remember that no umbrellas are allowed in the Festival’s territory.
If you are going to take your kids also to the concerts, please obtain some means of hearing protection as they will not be available on site but it is strongly advised to use them as the hearing of children is sensitive.
Although you will naturally have your kids near you at all times, it is advisable to sew or write on the child’s shirt a parent’s phone number, e.g. “Mom: phone XX XXX XXX”.
The Apovit SmartKidz Children Island will be open all three days. Uninterrupted activities for three days – shows, concerts, workshops and other entertainment for children will create the feeling of their own little festival, and they all will have the possibility to take part in various activities. The workshops and shows of the Children Science Centre Z(in)oo, lectures by the Nature Museum, exploring Latvian folklore and other activities will keep the children busy through the entire Festival. The children on the Apovit SmartKidz Island will be attended by professional nannies from Laumiņu residence.
A three-day ticket to the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island costs EUR 15; one-day ticket costs EUR 7. Tickets can be bought in advance on www.positivusfestival.com, and also on the spot in the Positivus Info Tent. The organisers of the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island wish to remind that the capacity of the Children Island is limited, and those who have bought their tickets in advance will have a priority.
If you are going to leave your kids on the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island, please carefully read the rules. The Apovit SmartKidz Children Island is for children from 3 to 12 years, but children under 3 years may be present on it only together with a parent or a custodian. The maximum time of leaving a child without an interruption is 4 hours; no catering will be provided. When you leave your child on the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island, the parent or the custodian has to fill out a questionnaire on the state of health of the child and other important information. The parent or the custodian has to produce an ID, and only the same person that took the child to the Apovit SmartKidz Children Island can collect them.
The 9th Positivus Festival, which will take place from July 17 till July 19 in Salacgrīva, Zvejnieku Park, as traditionally will be an exciting event for the fans of high-grade music and crazy parties.
