Short movies created by young directors, feature movies from well known directors, cult films with global vibe, discussions and talks as well as a film program divided by themes – this year Positivus Ādažu Čipšu cinema tent will shine with a special gloss. The program of cinema tent will be appreciated by gourmets of cinema as well as the ones who are always seeking for something new as there will be a chance to enjoy both debut works and already internationally acclaimed masterpieces. Furthermore, the earlier announced program with the gems of Latvian cinema will  be outstandingly complimented with cinematographic experiments.

Riga's Museum of Cinema together with Latvian Academy of Culture (LKA) will demonstrate a selection of first movies made by LKA students and offer an insight into the first steps in cinematography of now well-known film industry professionals. SHORT RIGA, the curators of Riga International Film Festival Riga IFF, in cooperation with LKA, Baltic Film & Media School and Lithuanian Music and Theatre Academy will present several film programs as well as a "mash-up" selection of music videos, but on the picturesque Nature Stage (Dabas Skatuve) screen in between the concerts different and fresh short films from around the world will be shown.

Evenings of the festival are booked for feature movies. Getting scared together will be possible while watching the horror movie M.O.Ž. by Aik Karapetian, meanwhile there will be a chance to get acquainted with the classics Barbarella and The Warriors that already have cult status in cinematic history. Spektrs presents the latest vampire-comedy What We Do In The Shadows; Scandinavian cinema will be represented with The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared. In early mornings and late nights animated movies from series of Avārijas Brigāde (The Emergency Crew) will be demonstrated, besides on the Saturday morning there will be a chance to discover the talent of master of puppets Arnolds Burovs. Meanwhile anyone willing to discuss current conspiracy theories in modern society will be invited to do it together with SkeptiCafe.

According to the previous announcements, in Ādažu Čipsi Cinema Tent also internationally acclaimed movies created in Latvia in the recent years such as The Lesson, Rocks in My Pockets and Modris will be screened.
